Located just outside the center of San Pedro de Atacama, this enchanting 12-suite sanctuary is screened by rustic wood gates and an ancient adobe wall. Modeled after the traditional architecture of Tulor, a local archaeological site dating from 800 B.C., the heart of the property is a large circular space defined by sienna-hued adobe walls inset with rows of local stones. There, inviting deck chairs flank a small pool, and thatched roofs supported by tree trunks cover a bar, sitting alcoves and a dining area. Lodgings have adobe walls, dark wood floors, dramatic lighting, solariums and patios with outdoor showers. Each is assigned its own dedicated guide, driver and 4WD vehicle. The five Superior Circular Suites are especially recommended.
