Scale of 90-100
Set within a members-only social club in the Financial District, this elite urban hotel encompasses 14 guest lodgings. The discreet entry leads to a small check-in desk and an expansive, clubby bar-lounge. A library features shelves stocked with books recommended by members and a seating area with a nautical theme. Phones are not permitted in public areas, but private call booths are tucked into corners throughout the hotel. Sophisticated guest accommodations, beautifully decorated by designer Ken Fulk, offer king beds with leather headboards, original art and baths with natural-stone tile, eggshell soaking tubs and walk-in showers. There is also a 6,200-square-foot penthouse suite with an infinity hot tub on a private outdoor patio. Other amenities include a stylish restaurant, the outdoor Garden Bar, a small spa and a fitness center with a sauna, hot tub and steam room. Wellness sessions with a personal trainer and nutrition consultations with Jae Berman, the on-site dietitian, can be booked.
