Located adjacent to Museum Square, this welcoming eight-story hotel in a restored 19th-century stone-and-brick structure is close to chic shops and a lovely park. The striking atrium lobby has tall windows and a partial glass ceiling. The 129 comfortable and attractive guest accommodations designed by Piero Lissoni feature oak parquet floors and come bathed in light. Some also include separate living areas and two levels. The property features two restaurants: the casual Brasserie & Lounge, in a glass-enclosed interior courtyard, and the more formal Taiko, which serves contemporary Asian dishes. Other amenities are highlighted by Tunes Bar for Champagne, cocktails and tapas; a well-equipped gym; and a 10,760-square-foot spa with a lap pool, seven treatment rooms, a lounge-café and a hammam. One-on-one sessions within the disciplines of yoga, Pilates, tai chi and meditation can be arranged.
