Friday Harbor House
Scale of 90-100
Recently renovated 23-room hotel perched on a hill overlooking picturesque Friday Harbor on San Juan Island, in the scenic San Juan Islands archipelago. Stylish accommodations have a color palette of cream, yellow and charcoal and come with gas fireplaces, midcentury modern furnishings, jetted tubs and Juliet balconies. Request a Harbor View room or the Partial View Suite, ideally on a high floor to avoid close proximity to the restaurant patio (Non-View rooms should be avoided). Lively restaurant serves upscale but unfussy cuisine with local, seasonal ingredients (two large dining decks under renovation). Friday Harbor itself is touristy, but the hotel is well-positioned for memorable kayaking, biking, whale watching and hiking excursions. Warm and helpful staff.

The mesmerizing harbor and marina views; the warm and helpful staff; the commendable restaurant; the fresh room décor.
The proximity of our balcony to the restaurant patio.
