Henry's Fork Lodge

Editor Rating
Scale of 90-100

Overlooking the Snake River’s celebrated Henry’s Fork, this fly-fishing retreat is 45 minutes from Yellowstone National Park. The lodge offers guided excursions to the famed nearby Railroad Ranch stretch of Henry’s Fork, plus the Madison and Firehole rivers, as well as other spring-fed and freestone streams. A modern cathedral-beamed lounge and cozy den; both tastefully appointed with Navajo rugs and original works of art; a superior paneled restaurant for locally sourced produce, sustainable seafood and meats; and a rocker-lined porch complement 14 water-view accommodations (mostly cottage suites adjacent to the main lodge that offer separate sitting rooms with fireplaces). The whole property can be booked for groups. Other outdoor activities include hiking and horseback riding, and tennis and golf are available nearby. The property is closed from November to the end of May.
