Cheval Blanc St-Barth Isle De France
Scale of 90-100
Upon reopening last December, this elegant beachfront resort set along the white sands of Anse des Flamands in the northwestern corner of the island revealed a striking new design spearheaded by interior designer Jacques Granges. The property added a children’s club, two restaurants and an open-facing garden. The 61 spacious guest rooms, suites and villas are housed in the whitewashed plantation-style Main House, in units directly on the beach and in less desirable bungalows set in the resort’s parklike grounds and lacking sea views. While all guest accommodations feature private terraces with rattan furnishings, some also come with small kitchens and private infinity pools. Visually appealing public areas include a vaulted lobby and the elegant indoor-outdoor La Case de l’Isle restaurant for locally inspired modern French cuisine. The property also encompasses a tennis court, fitness center and Guerlain garden spa, plus seaside and garden swimming pools.
