This beautifully appointed resort is set along a 10-mile beach on private Kiawah Island. The four-story hotel contains 255 casually elegant rooms outfitted with every conceivable amenity. Ocean View Suites at the end of each wing directly face the sea. Public areas include a spacious bar and lounges enhanced by old portraits, carved limestone fireplaces, handcrafted furnishings and tall seaview windows. Dining options include a poolside grill, the casual indoor-outdoor Jasmine Porch for traditional Lowcountry specialties and the formal Ocean Room steakhouse. Com­plem­enting the beach are two pool complexes, a spa and fitness center with an indoor pool, a tennis club and five championship golf courses. Outdoor activities include biking, sea kayaking and marshland canoe trips. A nondenominational chapel will be completed in the summer of 2019.
