Scale of 90-100
Stylish eco-resort within 10 stunning, superbly crafted villas and bungalows set on a dramatic promontory between two beaches on Dominica’s northwest coast. Clifftop one-bedroom Zabuco Honeymoon Villas, 110 feet above the sea, are the most desirable; open and pavilionlike with floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room, each 2,700-square-foot space includes a sea-facing deck with private pool, kitchen and bath with a freestanding tub and shower with six heads. Two new 1,600-square-foot Ylang Ylang Villas. Zing Zing Restaurant serves a daily changing menu (closed Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday); delicious meals cooked to order can also be delivered to guests’ villas. Small library and meditation deck. Limited beach options, but hotel’s unfailingly helpful staff advise on innumerable activities, including hiking, biking, snorkeling and kayaking. No children under age 16.
