Singita Mara River Tented Camp
Scale of 90-100
Intimate eco-friendly camp of just six tents, overlooking a huge U-shaped bend of the Mara River and providing a front-row seat from which to observe the annual wildebeest crossings. Lounge tent appointed with white sofas, sisal mats and African beaded artifacts sits on one side of an expansive deck, along with a plunge pool. Four spacious double tents and two intended for families offer electric lights and fans but no air-conditioning; furnishings include writing desks and leather-bound aluminum cabinets. Functional baths have rainfall showers and outdoor tubs. Private outdoor terraces hold small dining tables and chairs. Excellent food, obliging staff. Spa treatments available in designated tent or on private deck. No children under age 10.
