Exceptional ecolodge set in the Malilangwe Wildlife Reserve, a sanctuary for endangered species in the remote southeastern corner of Zimbabwe. Main stone lodge on a hilltop comprises a Jacuzzi, gym and cobalt-blue free-form swimming pool on a wide wooden deck with serene lake views. Six air-conditioned suites and a five-bedroom villa feature king-size beds with mosquito netting, private furnished porches with plunge pools, baths with soaking tubs and separate living areas decorated in a vibrant African style. Good to Know
With a private air charter — a Beechcraft Baron or equivalent — it is possible to fly to Victoria Falls from Buffalo Range in around three-and-a-half hours. From there, it is easy to continue your safari in the Okavango.
