Located on the open plains of the Singita Grumeti Reserves, where animals frequently crop the grass within a few feet of the nine air-conditioned tents, this classic 1920s-style safari camp has recently undergone a comprehensive redesign. Accommodations and common areas provide a more modern interpretation of the classic tented safari, with greater emphasis on indigenous African art and style. En-suite tents now offer meditation decks, private lounging salas, pantries and in-room fitness areas. The swimming pool located in the main tented lounge area, spa and gym facilities, new dining spaces and an open-plan bar all contribute to the camp's appeal. In addition to game drives, activities include guided safari walks, horseback riding, hot air ballooning, tennis, archery and wine tastings. Ultimately, it is the thrill of being on the ground, under canvas, in one of the world’s most spectacular and prolific wildlife areas that remains the essence of Sabora’s allure. Children under the age of 10 are not permitted.
