This stylish hotel and restaurant in the heart of Healdsburg encompasses just five accommodations, one of which is a 700-square-foot suite. Light-filled rooms are fashionably contemporary, with high-beamed ceilings, large windows and ample baths. The exquisite three-star restaurant, accented with ikebana floral arrangements, serves memorable multicourse dinners (closed Tuesday and Wednesday). Each course is reflective of the season, with food sourced from the property’s own farm and other local producers. Owners Kyle and Katina Connaughton draw inspiration from time spent in Japan and England, where Kyle worked at Heston Blumenthal’s The Fat Duck. Though the hotel lacks a gym and pool, passes to a nearby health club are complimentary. This property is first and foremost a sophisticated restaurant, with a small stylish inn attached. Children under the age of 12 are not permitted.
