The Stephen Williams House

93 Editor Rating*
Scale of 90-100

Intimate and graciously run six-room bed-and-breakfast in a restored 1834 Federal-style townhouse filled with magnificent antique furnishings, the residence of the engaging Dr. Albert Wall, at the western edge of Savannah’s historic district. The Stephen Williams Suite is the most desirable. Its parlor provides a sofa, writing desk and table; the bedroom is furnished with an antique queen four-poster bed, period chests, rich fabrics and a love seat. Although the atmosphere transports guests back more than 150 years, they still enjoy modern amenities. A lavish Southern breakfast is served whenever guests prefer at a long table dating from 1810. A peaceful walled garden provides an ideal place to relax.
