Triple Creek Ranch

Editor Rating
Scale of 90-100

This romantic mountain resort stands in the Bitterroot Valley of western Montana. The 25 log cabins overlook a rushing creek and fir forest, and each comes with a woodburning fireplace. Luxury Cabins offer the most secluded locations, plus living rooms, steam showers and spa decks. A cedar lodge contains an activities center, a cooking school, a rooftop lounge and a restaurant serving a nightly changing menu of seasonally inspired regional cuisine. Amenities include an outdoor pool (open June-September), a hot tub, a tennis court and a gym. During the summer, guests can take classes with the Artist in Residence. Other activities encompass fly-fishing, rafting, daylong cattle drives and horseback riding. Dog sledding, snowmobiling and “Skijoring,” an activity in which a person on skis is pulled by a horseback rider, are offered in winter. Children under the age of 16 are not permitted.
