Housed within a converted 17th-century winery, this charming family-owned inn with 43 rooms is ideally located in the heart of the Moselle Valley. Rooms, featuring an attractive mix of period details and contemporary décor, are pleasant, if not luxurious, but all lack air-conditioning. They tend to be small, so reserve the largest lodging available. Junior Suites are tastefully appointed with hand-painted floral wallpaper and blond-wood furnishings. Some have large windows that overlook snippets of the Moselle River. Culinarium R 2.0 offers a creative menu of seasonal dishes, and set within the former wine press house, the spectacular Wintergarten Baldachin restaurant — enclosed by soaring glass walls appended to one of the original slate-walled buildings — serves an excellent breakfast buffet. Other amenities include a quiet bar, a cigar lounge and a small vinotherapy spa.
